The DONKEY is a portable, elevated, multi-purpose center that offers
great flexibility to your entire athletic program. It can be used
as a scoring center, a video station, an officiating center or a broadcast
booth depending on the sport or activity. The DONKEY can be used in
nearly all sports including Track, Lacrosse, Soccer, Field Hockey,
Baseball and Tennis. It’s fully portable, easy to move and affords
protection from wind, weather and sun.
The original concept developed for and with the University of Pennsylvania
was for a durably designed unit that offered elevated seating and
observation while secondarily storing equipment and moving it from
site to site on the grounds quickly and easily.
Beyond its original purpose as the ultimate scorer’s table,
it has numerous other capacities such as signage or banner advertising
space and even a built in penalty bench for Lacrosse.
All DONKEY models seat five to six people comfortably on an anodized
aluminum bench that slides forward and back for easy access to the
scorer's table. The durable frame is manufactured with structural,
mill finish aluminum and features fluted flooring and ladder steps
with safety handle. The DONKEY can be easily moved by one or two people
and has the benefit of lockable wheels (two fixed, two moveable) for
when the unit is in use. The nominal dimensions are 11’H x 7’W
x 11’L (DONKEY-1 and DONKEY-2) and 6’H x 7’W x 11’L
(DONKEY-3) with an inside clearance (standing) of 6’2” under
the standard vinyl canopy of all models. The DONKEY-2 offers the added
benefit of an enclosed, lockable storage compartment for extra on-field
storage.
In addition to the optional storage, we also offer: a plastic canopy; hitch attachment; mounting leg supports; school/advertising banner (10' x
2' on front; 10' x 4' on back); removable, roll-up weather screens;
permanent tinted plexi-glass weather enclosure; penalty bench across wheel beds; seat and backrest cushions, available
