ACCU-KICK: THE FIRST OF ITS KIND
Introducing the Accu-Kick Adjustable Practice Football Goal - the first adjustable, portable football goal designed to help kickers score better under pressure. And let's face it, your kickers are under pressure! All too often the outcome of a game can rest solely on an accurate field goal or extra point attempt. The Accu-Kick was developed to psychologically prepare kickers for these stressful game day situations, not to mention offer them fresher, more rigorous practice sessions. And when your kickers are consistent, it gives your whole team that extra edge.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE UPRIGHTS
Whether your kickers need to narrow their target practice or hone their visualization techniques, Accu-Kick has it covered. The Accu-Kick has two main design features: (1) the uprights slide along the horizontal crossbar to adjust to various widths; and (2) the uprights are painted white on one side and yellow on the opposite side to allow a 180º rotation for an instant on-field color change (important for college level kickers).

The Accu-Kick upright width is adjustable from 18'6" to 6' and can be reduced or extended by pulling each upright to the desired setting by using the scale printed on the underside of the crossbar. The Accu-Kick provides kickers with the opportunity to practice at varying widths and different distances, which keeps practices lively and challenging. Uprights pulled into a six-foot width constitute an extremely tight target, which only the most accurate of kickers can convert from any distance. The Accu-Kick is excellent for visualization purposes and for confidence building.

Now here's a big extra for college kickers. As you may know, NCAA rules permit the goal posts to be painted either yellow or white. This regulation highlights the Accu-Kick's second feature - the two-tone, reversible uprights. The entire length of each upright is painted half white and half yellow and can be easily rotated to match the color of the upcoming game's goals. While this feature does not benefit all levels of play (sorry NFL), it does add one more visual cue to the kicker's practice routine that may make a critical difference on game day.

TAKE IT FROM A PRO
David Akers is a pro who recognizes the advantages that the Accu-Kick offers to your kickers. From the adjustable uprights to the reversible, two-tone goalposts, Akers knows an innovative product when he sees one. In fact, he claims that it is his most valuable training tool. David Akers, famed Philadelphia Eagles kicker, is excited enough about the Accu-Kick to stake his reputation on it. And what a fantastic reputation it is!

Now in his sixth year, the former Louisville Cardinal has become one of the most consistent and productive place-kickers in the NFL. He's played in two Pro Bowls and will probably enjoy his third in February 2005. The 30-year-old Akers already has kicked the most field goals in team history, has the most career postseason points (58), holds the club record for consecutive PATs made and is the first Eagle to ever post five straight 100-plus-point seasons. He also owns three of the six longest field goals in Birds history, has posted the team's top four consecutive FGs streaks -17, 13 (twice) and 12 - and has a career success rate of over 95 percent on field goals inside 40 yards.

From the roaring crowds to other sideline distractions, visualization techniques play a vital part in the kicking game. Confidence building is also a key element. Practicing with the Accu-Kick provides a tighter target (and the right color uprights) that will train a kicker to have greater accuracy and confidence during stressful "make-it or break-it" situations - with which David Akers has been extremely successful. It will challenge kickers to rise to a level above those reached with any traditional fixed upright practice goal. The "Accu-Kick Advantage" is a reality.

The Accu-Kick has been manufactured, top to bottom, using only premium materials and state-of-the-art engineering. Sturdily constructed of heavy-wall aluminum and stainless steel, the Accu-Kick is durable under all weather conditions. The two 24' high uprights are made of 4" diameter aluminum tubing. Each upright is attached at the base to a sliding stainless steel sleeve that independently runs along the 4" square aluminum horizontal crossbar. A specially designed stainless steel handle is provided to manually adjust the uprights. The four 12" pneumatic tires mounted on stainless steel axles permit the Accu-Kick to be easily moved by two people to any auxiliary field, freeing up your main field for team drills and scrimmages - also a plus for storing during games and off-season.

CHANGE IS GOOD
The Accu-Kick offers college (and even high school) kickers an instant on-field upright color change from white to yellow or vice versa. So the color of the uprights all week at practice will match those of the upcoming game. This takes one more variable out of the equation on game day - adding a competitive edge. We recommend that the predominant color be initially installed facing away from the groundbar. See the methods listed below for making a color change.

AAE suggests that you start with the easiest way (#1) if possible, or progress to the more laborious options (#2 and #3) if required.

1. Move the kicker from one side of the Accu-Kick to the other. Definitely the easiest, least time consuming way.

2. Turn the entire Accu-Kick Adjustable Practice Football Goal around. A little more effort involved, but a snap with two people.

3. And of course, you can always remove the upright bolts, manually rotate the uprights 180° and re-secure the bolts. This may take slightly more time and effort, but it is still a simple option if your goal must remain stationary during practice.

By the way, AAE understands that not all kickers (mainly NFL) need the added benefit of an upright color change, so a single color upright model is also available upon request. Solid yellow uprights would permit NFL kickers to practice from both sides of the Accu-Kick without any changes necessary.

Top-quality athletic equipment production has always been one of AAE's main priorities. And why not? Coaches certainly identify with the struggle of getting funds for capital equipment needs. At AAE, we understand that long-lasting equipment is worth its weight in gold. And our new Accu-Kick Adjustable Practice Football Goal is no exception.

With its adjustable, two-tone reversible uprights sliding along the crossbar, the Accu-Kick is definitely not your average practice goal. Consider that most fixed upright practice goals cost approximately $2,500; so the additional expense of the Accu-Kick's versatility will give you more "bang for your buck". And with a list price of $5,995, the Accu-Kick is a reasonably priced alternative for your football program. Freight and delivery will be added as applicable. Quantity discounts and customization are available. The Accu-Kick is sure to be the hottest new practice goal since the first fixed upright portable one was introduced - and AAE invented that too!
