Since 1950, our patented aluminum rocker hurdle has been the benchmark
of innovation and quality in scholastic track and field. Designed
to improve athletic performance while providing increased safety,
AAEs rocker hurdle is made to fall at the right speed to help
prevent young athletes from tripping.
Every HSAH hurdle is made of drawn, aerospace aluminum and is adjustable
to all five hurdling heights: 30", 33", 36", 39"
and 42". The powder-coated tubing and stackability add to the
ease of maintenance, which means longer product life. AAE was the
first to introduce a synthetic hurdle board, and today uses the exclusive
GE Lexan board in every official high school hurdle. Special, self-adjusting
weights keep the hurdle safely in its own lane when spilled while
meeting official pull-over requirements at all heights. Exclusive dome welded endcaps are standard because they are superior to typical plastic ones that scatter on the
track and never get replaced.
Many scholastic, collegiate and world records have been set over AAE
hurdles. Thats because AAE is the recognized leader in hurdle
design, innovation, quality and ease of maintenance. Meets all
NFHS specifications.
