Although a shot cage is not required by rule for HS, NCAA or IAAF, we have been at the forefront of developing one because we recognize the value of added safety in all events. AAE’s SC-14 Shot Cage provides an increased degree of safety protection for coaches, athletes, spectators, and officials during practices and/or all levels of competition. It includes four offset structural aluminum posts (14' out-of-ground), ground sleeves/caps, and net anchors. The posts secure a weather-treated nylon safety net measuring 14' high x 46' long, with a 360 psi strength, that sets up and is taken down with a simple pulley system. A 7' high barrier net is also available.
