AAE's new Shot Return System just made its debut in the 2007 Penn
Relays, where over 1000 shots were returned. Our SRS will save your
officials/coaches much aggravation in returning heavy shots from the
field during practice and events. It also creates a designated area
for participants to retrieve their shot implement rather than walking
out into a danger zone.
The SRS is constructed of 4" sq. vertical aluminum supports
with welded mounting brackets and bases, which feature holes for staking
bases into the ground. The custom return channel tapers from a 30"
height down to ground level. The last 9' section brings the shot back
up via a slowing ramp that levels off at a 24" height for an
additional 6' and ends at a rubber-backed stop plate - for an overall
length of 50' for the HS model and 70' for the NCAA model. Accomodates
14 NCAA men's shot put and 16 NCAA women's shot put.
