I coach hurdlers from 10 years old through high school. I am particular about them mastering proper technique before moving up in hurdle height. With the typical collapsible hurdles, though, they get so used to "not a real hurdle" that they freak out the first time you put them over actual hurdles. These hurdles have the look of an actual hurdle but I can introduce them very early in hurdle training.
